tour, travel,

If you are not familiar with London and are on a tight time schedule, choosing a tour would probably be the best thing to do. What is the best sight seeing tour in London?

We took the Original London Sightseeing Tour. Was amazing...open top. Just the best!
The Big Bus Tour. They also have an open top which is great when it is not raining!
I recently visited London for the first time and took a free walking tour which lasted about two hours and covered 'Royal London', covering iconic sights such as Buckingham Palace (well, the outside, anyway), the Changing of the Guard outside the Palace, Westminster Abbey (again, just the outside), the Houses of Parliament and a few other places. It was very good, and for those on a tight budget, payment was by donation. Do try to be generous, though, if you can afford it! These free walking tours begin at 11.00 and 15.00 every day, and leave from Green Park, near the statue of Diana the Huntress. The guides are the guys with the orange T-shirts and umbrellas.

I did my tour with these guys on my second day in London, and found it a great way to get a quick overview of some of the city's best-known sights. I strongly recommend the tour, as the guides are locals, are very knowledgeable and have a great sense of humour. They also a few other kinds of tours. to find out more take a look at their website: www.WeAreUndiscovered.com
