tube, london underground

The 48 hour tube strike on the 5th & 6th February 2014 caused a lot of disruption to commuters and was damaging to businesses.

Workers went on strike over the threat of the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, closing down ticket offices and axing 950 jobs.

He agreed to meet them round the table if they called off the strike, and they agreed to meet him if he called off the threat, but neither would budge on their position, and the strike went ahead.

Do you agree with the strike? Whose side are you on?

I support the strikers on this one. Not only is the union defending their, but also their customers. I know I don't wanted a system without ticket offices. I think think Boris Johnson is just being a stubborn prat, especially after I've heard his blabbering on the news.
Here here Bryony. Is it wrong to request fairness in this world?
