The Natural History Museum's much loved Dippy the Dinosaur is going to be removed from the main entrance in 2017 and replaced by a blue whale. Dippy has been there for 35 years, and many people are upset to see him go. Will you miss Dippy or are you looking forward to change? Do you think a blue whale will bring as much excitement and interest to visitors as a dinosaur?

I will definitely miss Dippy, and don't want him to go. I don't think children will have the same enthusiasm for a whale as they do a dinosaur. On the up side, it does mean Dippy will go on tour, and he won't be gone for good, just in another part of the museum. Dippy is also just a cast replica, not a real skeleton, where as the whale is real.
Yes, I will miss Dippy, he reminds me of 'Night At The Museum'.

No way...blue whale (while big) can not take the place of Dippy! Dipply is more like an heirloom! Shame...poor Dippy! :(
Yes, I will. Can't get both?
Actually we can. Dippy is just moving to another part of the museum, but he won't be in the limelight anymore.
